Cannon Coffee has moved!
It has taken us a while and a couple of false starts but Cannon Coffee has moved, we have a new home and very nice it is too! As of January 1st we're located at Riverview Business Park - which everyone knows as the "car wash place" in Guildford. So, if you're stuck in traffic trying to get into Guildford or heading out to the A3 any time between 7:30am and lunchtime - look left! That van you see has our famous Gunpowder Blend coffee on tap!! If you're lucky you'll be served by Storm who has been making flat whites and lattes since she was 6 years old and is rather good at it. If you're unlucky you'll get Alan - who is learning fast.
AND ladies and gentlemen - WE HAVE A SHOP! So, you can get your freshly roasted coffee, filters, drippers, grinders, cleaning kit AND chat about the merits of Brazilian Peaberry over Ugandan Honey Processed with Chris whilst drinking a decent cup of specialist coffee. You could also test drive a variety of coffee machines if you're in the market to upgrade your home coffee making skills from the current "boiled kettle and Nescafe Gold operation.
Furthermore, our new place has room for our roasting operation - so if you want a tour and demo of how coffee is roasted, cracking points, drop temperatures and drum to heat ratios - come and find Lewis. (Just make sure you ask for the 5 minute version - otherwise you might get the "full immersion" 5 hour demo .. bring your own lunch).
And there's more! Not only are we here - but we're also joining a tyre/MOT company who move in soon - as well as Rubba-Duckies swim school who'll be next to us in a couple of months. So - imagine this - your car fixed and washed, the kids get to learn a life skill and YOU get to spend a lovely time satisfying your taste buds and a tour of a coffee roaster! That's a fun day out for all the family! We should charge for entrance! Just remember to exit through the gift shop - with apologies to Banksy
